Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Reduction Policy
Objective:
Viking Pallet LLC is committed to beginning its journey toward environmental responsibility by tracking and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from its operations in a practical and achievable way.
Scope:
This policy applies to Viking Pallet’s:
- Scope 1 emissions (e.g., on-site fuel use, company vehicles)
- Scope 2 emissions (e.g., purchased electricity)
Baseline Year:
2025

Approach:
To meet these targets, Viking Pallet will:
- Begin measuring energy and fuel usage annually starting in 2025
- Explore low-cost efficiency improvements (e.g., LED lighting, reduced idling)
- Encourage driver efficiency and maintenance of company trucks and equipment
- Reassess targets every 2–3 years as operations grow or change
Monitoring:
- Emissions will be estimated annually based on utility bills and fuel usage.
- Results will be reviewed internally and shared with staff.
Review Date:
This policy will be reviewed and updated in 2028.
